Common questions
Is a lower EPC score better?
Yes, on a non-domestic certificate. The asset rating is an index of carbon emissions against a notional reference building, so lower is better. This is the opposite of the domestic scale.
How many points is a measure worth?
SBEM publishes no per-measure point value, so nobody can tell you precisely in advance. We give indicative ranges and say plainly that they are indicative.
