Tool
Find your commercial EPC
Search the public register by postcode. Every non-domestic certificate on the building, with its rating, score, inspection date and what it means for MEES.
What to look at first
- The band. F or G means the building is already below the standard that has applied since April 2023.
- The expiry date. Ten years from inspection. An expired certificate is not itself a breach, but it leaves your position unevidenced.
- The floor area. Over 1,000 m² and the 2031 EPC B standard is expected to apply; at or under it, your obligation stays at the E minimum.
- Whether the rating is evidenced or assumed. Usually the most valuable question, and the one the certificate does not answer. Why that matters →
Turn the certificate into a plan
For £49 we build an Upgrade Plan from the certificate you already have: the points gap, the measures that close it, what each costs, and when to do it.
Common questions
Is this the official EPC register?
It searches the same data. We hold a local mirror of the GOV.UK Energy Performance of Buildings Register bulk extract, which is why results come back instantly.
Why can I not find my building?
Addresses are recorded as the assessor typed them, so unit names, suite numbers and building names vary. Try the postcode alone and read the list. If nothing appears, the building may never have been assessed.
Does this cost anything or need an account?
No to both.
